Floristry taster days
Our taster days are created with the budding florist and "floricurious" in mind. This will suit those who are considering a career in floristry or would just like a real insight into the day of a florist! Numbers are limited to a maximum of 3 persons. Dates can be negotiated. 9.30- 4pm Drinks and light refreshments are included. We are happy for you to bring an easy-to-eat lunch to suit your personal preferences. The day involves the following main points:
*conditioning fresh flowers from the wholesale market and displaying them in the shop, ready for sale.
* displaying flowers in the hand, making and gift wrapping a hand-tied design
* looking at current trends and making 1) an arrangement,2) funeral designs 3) wedding accessories
...and take all your flowers and designs home with you.
